Turkey at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

Turkey is a parliamentary republic in Eurasia. Ankara formerly known as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of the Republic of Turkey.

Turkey has been taking part in the Summer Paralympics since 2000.

Turkey will once again compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016.

So far, Turkey has participated in 5 Summer Paralympics Games, and has won 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 6 Bronze medals.
