South Korea at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

South Korea is a sovereign state in East Asia, constituting the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. Seoul is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea.

South Korea has been taking part in the Summer Paralympics since 1968.

South Korea will once again compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016.

So far, South Korea has participated in 13 Summer Paralympics Games, and has won 118 Gold, 93 Silver and 91 Bronze medals.
