Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí (Portuguese: Passarela Professor Darcy Ribeiro), commonly known as Sambadrome is the traditional home of the annual Rio Carnival parade in Brazil.
It is also one of the venues of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Sports : Archery and Athletics (Marathon)
The venue will host the Archery event and the marathon of the Athletics event of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics and then host the Archery event during the Paralympic Games.
Designed by Oscar Niemeyer and built in 1984, the Sambadrome basically consists of a 700m stretch of the Marquês de Sapucaí street converted into a permanent parade ground with bleachers (grandstands) built on both the sides for spectators.
