The highly decorated Olympian and the 18-time Olympic swimming champion, Michael Phelps recently announced that he wants to compete at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Earlier this week, Michael Phelps returned to competition after a six-month suspension by USA Swimming, resulting from a second drunken-driving arrest.
Phelps entered a short-lived retirement after London 2012 Olympic Games, but will now bid to reach a fifth Olympic Games.
“I am looking forward to next year. I don’t think it’s too hard to really realise why I came back.”

58 gold medals: 18 Olympic, 27 World Championship, 13 Pan Pacific
11 silver medals: 2 Olympic, 6 World Championship, 3 Pan Pacific

Michael Phelps will not swim at the World Championships in Russia which will be held in August this year but will race at the US national championships in San Antonio, Texas, taking place at the same time.
During his 6 months ban period, Phelps spent 45 days at an alcohol rehabilitation center in Arizona.
