Max Whitlock of Great Britain wins Gold in Men’s Floor Gymnastics

Great Britain’s Gymnast Max Whitlock won the gold medal in the Men’s Floor Gymnastics event of Rio 2016 Olympics on Sunday – his second gold medal of the day.

Earlier in the day, Max Whitlock had won gold in Men’s Pommel Horse Gymnastics event.

23 year-old Max Whitlock won the gold medal with a total score of 15.633. It is Britain’s first-ever Olympic gymnastics gold.

It was a good event for Brazil as the host nation picked up both, silver and bronze medal in the event.

Diego Hypólito won the silver medal with a score of 15.533 points while countrymen Arthur Mariano won the bronze medal with 15.433 points.
