Spain’s Maialen Chourraut won the gold medal in the Women’s slalom K1 Canoeing event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Thursday.
Maialen Chourraut won gold medal finishing the race first clocking of 98.65 seconds.
New Zealand’s Luuka Jones won the silver medal finishing second clocking time of 101.82 seconds.
Australia’s Jessica Fox rounded out the top three with a time of 102.49 seconds to win the bronze medal.
Maialen Chourraut’s run was the fastest of the entire kayak single slalom competition, and free of penalties.
