Madagascar at the 2016 Summer Olympics

Madagascar is an island country in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Southeast Africa. Antananarivo also known by its French colonial shorthand form Tana, is the capital and largest city in Madagascar.

Madagascar has been taking part in the Summer Olympics since 1964.

Madagascar will once again compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016.

So far, Madagascar has participated in 11 Summer Olympic Games, but has never managed to win an Olympic medal.

Lets hope that they are able to win an Olympic medal this time around.
