Japan at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

Japan is an island country in East Asia. Tokyo is the capital and the largest city of Japan.

Japan has been taking part in the Summer Paralympics since 1964.

Japan will once again compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016.

So far, Japan has participated in 13 Summer Paralympics Games, and has won 106 Gold, 112 Silver and 120 Bronze medals.
