German shooter Henri Junghaenel won gold medal in the Men’s 50 m Rifle Prone Shooting event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Friday at the Deodoro shooting range.
Henri Junghaenel won the gold medal with a score of 209.5. It was Germany;s second gold medal in shooting at this year’s Olympic Games. Yesterday, Germany’s Barbara Engleder became Germany’s first ever female shooting Olympian, winning gold in the Women’s 50m rifle 3 position event.
Kim Jong-Hyun of South Korea came in second with a score of 208.2 to win the silver medal.
Russian shooter Kirill Grioryan won the bronze medal with a score of 187.3 points.
