Hannah Mills, Saskia Clark of GB win Gold in Women’s 470 Sailing

The final race of the Women’s 470 class of Sailing event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games will take place on Wednesday, August 17, but it is certain that Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark of Great Britain will win the Gold Medal.

Currently Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark are place first in the points table with 28 points and the next best is Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie of New Zealand with a total of 48 points.

Even if Hannah Mills finish last and New Zealand’s pair finish first, both will have equal score of 48 points and only in this rarest of rare possibility they will not win the gold.

However, the field for the remaining medal places is well open and outcome of this race will determine who will be the silver and bronze medal winner.
