Great Britain wins Gold in Women’s Coxless Pair Rowing

Pair of Women Rowers from Great Britain, Helen Glover and Heather Stanning have won gold medal in the Women’s Coxless Pair Rowing event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Friday.

The pair from Great Britain reached the finishing line first with a time of 7:18.29 to win the gold medal.

New Zealand’s pair of Genevieve Behrent and Rebecca Scown won silver medal finishing second with a time of 7:19.53.

Rowers from Denmark, Hedvig Rasmussen and Anne Andersen finished third to win the bronze medal with a time of 7:20.71 while United States ended fourth.
