Great Britain wins Gold in Men’s Coxless Four Rowing

Team of Rowers from Great Britain won the gold medal in the Men’s Coxless Four Rowing event of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Friday.

Great Britain’s quartet – Alex Gregory, Constantine Louloudis, George Nash and Mohamed Sbihi won the gold medal finishing first with a time of 5:58.61. It was the fifth Games in a row that Britain has won this event.

Australian team of William Lockwood, Josh Dunkley-Smith, Josh Booth and Alexander Hill won the silver medal finishing second with a time of 6:00.44.

Italian team of Domenico Montrone, Matteo Castaldo, Matteo Lodo and Giuseppe Vicino won the bronze medal with a time of 6:03.85, finishing third.
