Germany at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

Germany is a federal parliamentary republic in West-Central Europe. The capital and the largest city of this country is Berlin.

Germany has been taking part in the Summer Paralympics since 1992.

Germany will once again compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016.

So far, Germany has participated in 14 Summer Paralympics Games, and has won 451 Gold, 451 Silver and 421 Bronze medals.
