France won Olympic Gold medal in the Team Eventing Equestrian event of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

French Equestrian team consisting of Karim Laghouag, Mathieu Lemoine, Astier Nicolas and Thibaut Vallette won the gold medal with 169 penalties.

Germany’s Equestrian team consisting of Julia Krajewski, Sandra Auffarth, Ingrid Klimke and Michael Jung won the silver medal with 172.8 penalties.

Australian Equestrian team consisting of Shane Rose, Stuart Brian Tinney, Sam Griffiths and Christopher Burton won the bronze medal with 175.3 penalties.

Great Britain accrued just four penalties in the show jumping phase of the three-event competition, but finished fifth after struggling in the cross country on Monday.
