French pair of Jeremie Azou and Pierre Houin won the gold medal in the Men’s Lightweight Double Sculls Rowing event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Friday.

French duo crossed the finishing line in 6min 30.7sec to win the gold medal.

Ireland’s Paul O’Donovan and Gary O’Donovan finished second to win silver medal with a time of 6:31.23.

Norway’s Kristoffer Brun and Are Strandli came in third to win the bronze medal with a time of 6:31.39.
