Christian Reitz of Germany wins Gold in Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Shooting

German shooter Christian Reitz won the gold medal in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Shooting event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Saturday.

Christian Reitz gave Germany its third gold medal in shooting events of Rio 2016 Olympic Games leading from the start to finish defeating Jean Quiquampoix of France by a score of 34 – 30. His final score of 34 ties an Olympic record in the event.

The silver medalist, 20-year-old No. 3 ranked shooter Jean Quiquampoix of France had to settle for the silver medal after loosing out in the final match.

China’s Li Yuehong won the bronze medal in the event, China’s seventh shooting medal of the Rio Olympics, the most of any nation.
