Great Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin won the gold medal in the Individual Dressage Equestrian Event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Monday.
31 year-old, Charlotte Dujardin won the gold medal with a 93.857% routine to secure GB’s 40th medal of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Germany took the remaining medals – i.e., the silver and the bronze medals in the event.
Isabell Werth won the silver medal with 89.071% routine while Kristina Broring-Sprehe won the bronze medal with 87.142% routine.
“I feel a little bit overwhelmed,” said Dujardin, who also won team dressage gold four years ago.
