China’s Cao Yuan won the gold medal in the Men’s 3m Springboard Diving event of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Tuesday, August 16 at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Center.
Cao Yuan never trailed in the Men’s 3m Springboard Final and won the gold medal with a total of 547.60 points well ahead of other competitors.
With his gold, China has now captured five gold medals in six diving events of Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Great Britain’s Jack Laugher won the silver medal in the event with 523.85 points.
Germany’s Patrick Hausding won the bronze medal in the event with a total of 498.90 points.
