Algeria at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

Algeria is a sovereign state in North Africa on the Mediterranean coast. Its capital and most populous city is Algiers.

Algeria has been taking part in the Summer Paralympics since 1964.

Algeria will once again compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016.

So far, Algeria has participated in 12 Summer Paralympics Games, and has won 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 8 Bronze medals.
